weight she lost unt il she came
home from her daily run…
She had been running a lot lately, almost
every day in fact…
My heart dropped when she walked in the front
door…
She looked sickly thin…
And pale…
I asked her if everything was alright…
Only to give me the classic two word teenage
answers…
“I’m {ne”
But as I looked closer, I could see her struggling,
even to walk…
“Ho ney, maybe you should eat something, how
about I whip you up a sandwich?
And what she said next broke my heart…
